Spot the Difference & Proof the voices just aren't in my head & Who to blame...

So that was the 1st Seven Days of Janathon! Phew, my shins have begun & ended their protests about it. Hopefully that's the most I'll have to put up with. (Please no one say "famous last words")

I have a game to play today. Spot the Difference;

Aside from my in ability to crop them to reasonably the same size, and that one is of my feet stood up & one of my feet sitting down, can you spot the difference between my new trainers?

Yes the bloody English crappy weather has made my feet all soggy, and made my beautiful white trainers all black & mushy. *SULK* Well, what should I have expected? Really, this is England, in January.
It was a cold wet run & more like one of those assault courses where you have to put your foot in each tyre as you run through them, trying to avoid the deep cold puddles & the sadistic drivers trying to soak me. This must be a good form for me as I ran my quickest mile.
And through the magic of technology I can share the "Attaboy" (yes that really is what Nike call these audio clips) BTW - they don't start talking until 3 or 4 seconds in...
Listen!(yes yes I wrote Paul instead of Paula, my fingers were cold!)

oh & while were at it this is the Crazy Loud American shouting FIYA!

So whilst out allegedly running, I was got to wondering who to blame for this soggy situation, and I gave this thought my full undivided attention, missed the turn back home & it was a full 3 minutes before I properly looked around and realised my error.
Using this extra time to curse & swear I remembered the Tweet that started this horrible chain of events for me...

Yeah, back in November it might have seemed great, but with all this extra weight & cold & wet & snow, I'm not inclined to agree with my former self or this Tweet.
So here's the last bit of embedding into this blog, and another Nike ad that I like..
.

I hope this blog post makes sence, but I've just eaten a whole packet of Oreos, and fear I may be entering some kind of sugar coma.
Total Miles at End of Week One

PS - Mr Virtual Runner, Thanks, honestly, I'd not have started this and once I've warmed up & dried out I'm certain I'll love Janathon again.

PPS - Cathy, extra thanks for doing this for us. Love you!

Well done getting to the end of week one! I went out in the dark a few nights ago and my trainers were automatically drawn to every damn puddle on the route. These were my 'nice' pair too, they've only done 3-400 miles. Luckily they went from soggy grey mush to 'nearly new' on a cool cycle in the Hotpoint! Good job I have a back-up pair, as they've taken two days to dry out (the trick is to let them dry out slowly, away from radiators!).
Enjoy Week 2!
